Experience:

Jesús is a Senior Associate in Sanitary Registrations at Marvilla García Valdez Abogados. Additionally, he served as Legal Secretary Lawyer at Hospital José Agurto Tello de Chosica, providing specialized legal advice in Administrative Disciplinary Procedures (PADs). As a Founding Partner at ICL- Icare Law, Jesús actively participated in the establishment of the legal firm, contributing his expertise on a full-time basis.

During his tenure at Indecopi, Jesús held the position of Trademark Registration Officer, where he conducted the registrability assessment of trademark applications. He also played a crucial role in drafting resolutions for the approval or denial of trademark registrations, as well as assessing collective trademarks, certification trademarks, and local & foreign geographical indications.

Education:

Jesús has continued his academic development impressively. He earned his Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade Law and Intellectual Property Law from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). Additionally, he completed a Post Graduate Specialization Program in International Business/Trade/Commerce Law at the same institution. His educational background also includes obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law and Corporate Law from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres, thereby solidifying his expertise in intellectual property law and corporate law during the period 2001-2006.
